Hose application

The first and most important thing we need to establish is which rubber linner is required in the hose and this based on the type of application the hose will be used for. In some instances rubber is not the best option and thus we will look towards a PVC option

Pressure rating

The second option is to determine what the pressure rating of the hose will be. This is the second most important factor to deciding which hose will be best suitable

Delivery or suction

Another option to consider is whether the hose will be used to deliver product or to suck product from somewhere ie a dam. This information is required to determine the reinforcing of the hose.

Temperature

The last thing to consider is the temperature. Most of the rubber hose have a temperature range of 80°C but there is hoses suitable for higher temperature ranges.
